From Child Actor to Big Star

Jussie Smollett gives us a major Throwback Thursday picture comparing him as a young boy to what he looks like now. Although his hair is different, he looks almost exactly the same. Jussie Smollett is an actor who did not grow up in the eye of the public, in fact, some may not even recognize him from The Mighty Ducks and North, but now he is making the rounds with his role on Empire.

If you have not watched Empire, what are you waiting for? It is an amazing show highlighting black culture, the music entertainment business, and a family who is at the center of both these factors. The show itself is an emotional roller coaster touching on topics like sexuality, motherhood, parenting, and business as an obstacle, but also a way to push forward.

Empire will be in its fourth season which is said to come out sometime between 2017 – 2018. Catch up on the last three seasons and be ready to watch how these actors transform yet again.
