Ed Sheeran Joins The Carpool Karaoke Family

Finally a Carpool Karaoke episode with Ed Sheeran!

Ed Sheeran appeared on the June 6 airing of The Late Late Show with James Corden‘s most popular segment of Carpool Karaoke and it is just what you needed.

During the segment, they sang some of his well-known hits such as “Thinking Out Loud,” and “Sing.” They also sang “Castle On The Hill” and “Shape of You” from his new album Divide. James and Sheeran also covered Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” both of which were co-written by Ed Sheeran.

They even did the Maltese challenge, and Sheeran managed to fit 55 of the candies in his mouth, breaking his previous record of 47 candies. Maltese is an English chocolate candy with a circular shape.

The two also discussed Sheeran’s break from social media, traveling, and then the production process for his new album Divide, which he spent eight months writing.
