Orange Is The New Black’s Recap is the Cutest Thing You’ll Watch Today
Season 5 just can’t come soon enough!
With the fifth season of “Orange is the New Black” coming out Friday June 9, 2017, fans are patiently waiting to visit our friends from Litchfield, since its been a year since we’ve last seen them, and four years since we first met them on Netflix back in 2013.
So it’s not surprising when it’s a little foggy about events that happened in the first four seasons. And look no further, because Netflix has you covered, with Orange Is the New Black: Unraveled to make it a little easier.
In the link below, you’ll be reminded about important events that you can’t forget going forward in the next season. But if you haven’t had a chance to catch those first seasons, don’t watch it! There are major spoilers, and you wouldn’t want to do that to yourself.
As for the new season, we’ve left off right where season four ends, with the prison in riot and Daya (Dascha Polanco) pointing a gun to one of the prison guards head – and the season fades to black.
And what can we look forward to in the upcoming season? Season five will take place over the course of three days, and yes a lot can happen in three days when a prison riot breaks loose.
Laverne Cox shared with E! News, “there’s prison riots, it’s mayhem, it manages to be funny. We’re mourning, it’s deep and it’s good – and you’re going to gag.”
