Of Mercer was founded by Emelyn Northway and Dorie Smith, who were sick of the struggle women face in the working world. They relate to the rest of us when they address that getting dressed for work is much more difficult for women than it is for men. Plus, it can get very expensive.
The cofounders worked in finance and consulting and found it frustrating that the clothes we wear 5 days a week were so difficult to find! They created a woman’s brand that offers appropriate hemlines and necklines in a fashionable, affordable, and flattering way!

Of Mercer puts the customer’s needs first and knows exactly what we want to wear! They sell reversible dresses for those business trip and dresses with underarm panels to hide sweat stains! The clothes are also designed in terms of the average customer size, rather than a professional model.
