Whats Next For “13 Reasons Why” Season 2

2017-06-04 (1)

If you haven’t watched season one, you really need to get going!

“13 Reasons Why” was originally a book written by Jay Asher in 2007, that was later adapted by Netflix and turned into a TV series earlier this year. And boy did it take off! The show received an immense amount of press by fans that read the book as kids and the newer generation that had just heard about it.

The show, while only having 13 episodes, got rave reviews from fans wanting more. But the whole concept of the book was solely about those 13 tapes. Well if you’re one of those fans wanting more episodes,

you’re in luck.

The series is getting a second season of 13-episodes. But while the first season discusses how teen Hannah Baker makes the decision to end her life, the question becomes: Is Hannah’s story over?

Well, you’re in luck once again, because it’s not.

Showrunner Brian Yorkey talked to EW about the show, and what’s to come in those next 13 episodes.

When asked if Hannah would return, Yorkey said, “Oh absolutely. I think one of the things that is still hanging out there is this question of is someone responsible for Hannah’s death? Is the school responsible? Who is responsible, if anyone?”

As for the cliffhangers that were left off in season 1, they’re going to be continued and explored throughout season 2. But until we’ll find out exactly what happens you’ll have to wait till 2018 when it returns to Netflix.
