Still recovering from the recent terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, London has been struck. May concluded in the deadly bombing of 22 people in the Manchester Arena. Just days later, seven people have been murdered.

The tragedy began at the London Bridge when three mysterious men in a white van began to run over pedestrians. The madness continued when the terrorists, wearing imitation explosive vests, got out of the vehicle and attacked people in restaurants. Yelling, “this is for Islam”, they stabbed innocent beings. The three perpetrators were shot dead upon arrival of armed police officers. In the eight minutes it took police to get there, seven individuals were killed and over 10 were wounded.

The London Metro Police Department has arrested 12 people in connection with the deadly terrorist attacks. East London isn’t done searching for additional evidence regarding the catastrophe. As the world sits in shock, we need each other now more than ever. Celebrities like Cara Delevingne and Sam Smith have spoken out for their hometown on social media. In a time of hate and disaster, they are inspiring us to stick together. The religion of hatred needs to end by preaching love.
