Season 7 of Scandal Will Be The Final Season
How will America cope without Pope?
Scandal is one of the more popular TV series that come as a part of Shonda Rhimes’s TGIT (Thank God It’s Thursday) night lineup on ABC. It’s a fan favorite because for one hour per week, people get to watch TV and watch Olivia Pope (played by Kerry Washington) in action. It is also the one night where people can get away with eating popcorn and drinking wine for dinner without feeling guilty. She gave the phrase “It’s handled” a whole new meaning.
The show follows Olivia Pope and her team in Washington D.C., as they “fix” her clients issues and those who oppose her try to avoid getting ‘poped.’ The political thriller started in 2012 and has lasted for six seasons. Sadly enough, the upcoming seventh season will be the final season of the series.
Olivia Pope is one of the many relentless and hardworking women on TV. She gets her jobs done and in high fashion and styles. Throughout the years the character has become a fashion icon, and even gained the attention of fashion magazines such as Vogue Magazine, People, and Cosmopolitan, to name a few. Olivia Pope and her team surely will be missed.
What will the American Gladiators do after Olivia’s departure from TV? Probably eat popcorn and drink wine while binge watching old episodes or reruns of Scandal. Wouldn’t it be great it she could handle this situation and live on our TV’s forever?
Scandal will return during the 2017-2018 broadcasting season on ABC.
