Ariana Grande Responds to the Manchester Attack

arianafan

May 26, 2017, just four days after the horrific attack at Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman Tour concert at the Manchester Arena, Ariana Grande returned to Instagram to send her condolences to all of those who were affected by the violence that took place. In her post she states, “I am sorry for the pain and fear that you must be feeling and for the trauma that you, too, must be experiencing.” Baffled by the events that took place at what was supposed to a safe space for her fans — young and old — Ariana Grande still encourages retaliation through peaceful action: “We will continue in honor of the ones we lost, their loved ones, my fans, and all affected by this tragedy. They will be on my mind and in my heart everyday and I will think of them with everything I do for the rest of my life.”

In addition to expressing her emotions so gracefully, Ariana Grande also includes that she will be returning to Manchester to spend time with her fans and to raise money for the victims and loved ones of this attack. She will be performing once again: peacefully, wholeheartedly, and truly like the cool, brave, and “Dangerous Woman” she is.
