The Rock Gives His Retake on His Popular Meme

The “People’s Champ” shows he still has style as he hilariously reenacts his well known meme.

Everyone knows and loves Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, from his good looks to his caring heart, and even more from his hilarious paragraphs that always gives us a valuable lecture. Recently Mr.Johnson took the internet way back to 1996, when he reenacted a picture that took the social media by storm and started a hilarious “buff lesbian” meme in the backstage of Saturday Night Live the night he hosted.

Johnson re-poses with his famous turtle neck, fashionable fanny pack, and his carefully placed napkin which just sets off all kinds of aesthetic alerts. You can almost feel the nostalgia in this collage but, that’s not the best part. Aside from the humor filled post the message The Rock leaves is most important.

In the post he tells of the struggle he was going through at the time of this picture. He was sleeping on an air mattress he stole from a shady hotel because of his lack of funds. He reminds everyone to “keep faith” and “outwork your competition” because you never know where it could take you and those are words Mr.Johnson uses to live by.
