Chris Blue Wins The Voice

Chris Blue won the 12th season of NBC’s The Voice! Ever since his audition, Chris Blue gave a riveting performance of the 1983 hit, “Tracks of My Tears” by Smokey Robinson and The Miracle, he remained a competition favorite until the end of the competition which he ultimately won. He was the last contestant to audition, and he received the only remaining space in the competition with a spot on Alicia Keys’ team. Throughout the competition, Chris maintained strong vocals, gave worthwhile performances, and had some great choices that allowed him to stay in America’s good graces.
The finale had performances from artists such as Alessia Cara, Zedd, Rascal Flatts, Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, Gladys Knight, Little Big Town, and Chris Stapleton. There were also return performances from past judges and upcoming judges for the show. They included: Cee Lo Green (past judge), Usher (past judge), Jennifer Hudson (season 12 judge) and Miley Cyrus (season 13 judge). The winners were announced towards the end of the show and the results are below:
- Lauren Dusky, Team Blake – 2nd place
- Aliyah Moulde, Team Blake – 3rd place and,
- Jesse Larson, Team Adam – 4th place
