Jennifer Hudson Joins The Voice
America better watch out for JHud!
NBC announced on May 10th, 2017 that Jennifer Hudson will be joining the reality singing competition The Voice as a judge in Season 13. Jennifer will join Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who have been judges on the show since its inception, and Miley Cyrus who was on the show for season 11 will also return as a judge for season 13.
Jennifer got her professional start as TV Voice coach in season 6 of the UK’s version of The Voice. That was her first time as a coach and she won! Hopefully her success can travel across the pond to America. She just may be someone for whom the judges need to watch out.
Watch her performance at the NBC Upfronts of “And I Am Telling You” from the 2006 Dreamgirls film in which she starred.
