Miss USA 2017: Kára McCullough
We love Kára McCullough and here is why you should too:
This beautiful 25-year-old works as a government employee, wowed the judges with her talents, beauty and intelligence at the annual Miss USA beauty pageant broadcast live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Tears were streaming down her face as she took her victory lap in her evening look as Miss USA 2017.
She’s a Scientist: Kára has an impressive career as a physical scientist at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. She has said before that she fully plans to continue a career in nuclear pharmacy.
She has a heart for children: The new Miss USA funds a science program just for kids. The program is called Science Exploration for Kids, which Kára does all by herself.
She is full of natural beauty: Instead of fixing her hair to make it silky or even wearing a hair piece, Kára opted to wear her hair natural for the beauty pageant. She even gives out her beauty tips for getting back to that natural look!
She is from D.C.: Miss USA 2016 (the last winner of the Miss USA pageant) was also from D.C. So I guess you can say D.C. knows what’s up when it comes to beauty and brains!
Kára McCullough is an incredible role mole for so many people in the world and we are so glad she is representing the USA. She supports equal rights and we love everything about her!
