Pentatonix covered an Elvis song, and it is awesome!
Pentatonix, an a cappella group, recently dropped a new video with a cover of Elvis Presley’s popular hit “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and it will have you falling in love. The cover’s instrumentals are all made from the voices of each member of the group.
There have been dozens of release with different stylings and covers of this song by various artists, but this version is different because they all harmonize using their voices as both the instruments and for vocals. They also gave the song their own arrangements and twists to make it their own and separate it from the rest. The video is simple as it shows the group of five dressed in black and white or a combination of both against a black background while lights twinkle around them. Since its release, the video has received millions of views, and it is well deserved.
The group, formed in Texas and now based in California, is no stranger to doing covers of well-known songs. They have covered songs from a variety of genres such as Soul, Folk Rock and Rap. They gained popularity after winning season 3 of NBC’s Sing Off in 2011. Since then, they have recorded their original music and albums and have headlined their own tours across the world. They have worked with artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Jason Derulo and Dolly Parton.
