“The Breaks” picks up where the hit movie left off. Written and directed by Seith Mann, the VH1 original movie, “The Breaks,” was praised by many critics. After the films success, fans demands for more of “The Breaks” were answered when a series adaptation was announced.
The TV series is set in New York City in the 1990s and focuses on three friends who love hip hop and work to make their mark on the music industry.
Actors/Actresses include: Afton Willamson, Wood Harris, Tristan Mack Wilds, Antoine Harris, David Call, Evan Handler, Melonie Diaz, Sinqua Walls, and Ali Ahn. The show also featured guest appearances from Tip “T.I.” Harris, Teyana Taylor, Gloria Reuben, William Jackson Harper, Kim Wayans, and De’Adre Aziza.
