I. Marlene King Answers A Question About “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6B Finale

Do you remember when the Liars’ moms were trapped in the DiLaurentis basement? 

Well so did Vulture, and they got the chance to ask Marlene about it! She says she would go back and show the scene. She assumes that somebody eventually called the police and that’s how they got out of there. Considering Mr. DiLaurentis and Jason were temporarily paralyzed, and Alison was with CeCe/Charlotte, we doubt any members of the household were the ones who got the mothers out. But it seems we won’t get an actual explanation in the show. The mothers got out safe and sound, in the end that’s all that matters!
