Tristan McIntosh Wins Judges Hearts in American Idol

Tristan McIntosh is from Nashville Tennessee and auditioned for Season 15 of American Idol. 15 year old, Tristan McIntosh completely won over the judges hearts. McIntosh said that her mom is the reason why she is the musician she is today and was sad that her mom couldn’t be with her on audition day. Tristan was really bummed because she thought her mom couldn’t make it to he audition due to being stationed overseas. After Tristan sang “Why Baby Why” by Mickey Guyton, the judges knew that this girl was something special. Fellow friend of Alicia Keys and judge, Jennifer Lopez told Tristan that she reminds her of Alicia Keys. Wow, now that’s a compliment! After Tristan sang her audition song, one of the judges read a letter to Tristan from her mom. Shortly after, Tristan’s mom comes out from behind the stage and surprises her daughter! You can watch Tristan’s audition here. Warning, this is definitely a tear-jerker. Jennifer Lopez went on to say that she believes Tristan can win American Idol.
