Erica is Inspiring Girls Everywhere!
Erica Jean Schenk is an 18-year-old, up-and-coming model signed to Wilhelmina Models, one of the largest and most successful modeling agencies. She is considered a “plus-size” model, but she doesn’t sweat it whatsoever.
In an interview with Seventeen, Erica said that the term is simply a business term and that the term doesn’t define who she is as a person.
Like Erica said, being a model is catering to the needs of your client, so Erica’s mindset of letting the term simply be a business term and not a label on her as a woman, is so empowering and is something we could all learn from.
She is uber athletic and has played volleyball, tennis, and golf in high school and loved all three sports. She also loves running, which she models workout gear in the photo. She redefines and breaks the stereotype that only thin, tan, tall girls can run. We love it! Go Erica!
