Olivia Holt is best known for playing Kim on the Disney XD series, Kickin’ It. In addition to Kickin’ It, Olivia is also on Disney’s I Didn’t Do It, and just inked an album deal with Hollywood Records. Olivia sat down with Glitter to talk about the second season of I Didn’t Do It, her new album deal with Hollywood Records, her goals for 2015, her summer plans and what song is currently on repeat! GLITTER: What can you tell us about your new album deal that you inked with Hollywood Records?
OLIVIA: It was such a heart pounding experience. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Getting the opportunity to do music of my own with a team of people who believe in me and who are just as passionate about music as I am is a dream turned into reality.
GLITTER: What can you tell us about the second season of Disney Channel’s I Didn’t Do It? Without giving away any spoilers?
OLIVIA: This season is so well done. We’re shining a new light on the characters and really digging deep into who they are and what they feel and how they’ll get through high school, shenanigans, friendship, and love, together.
GLITTER: Who are some of your favorite actors or actresses and why?
OLIVIA: I’ve always been a big fan of Reese Witherspoon. She has chosen some great roles in her career and always plays them with such authenticity.
GLITTER: New goals for 2015?
OLIVIA: Travel more. Whether that be on the road while doing music or literally just taking time off to travel. It’s one of my favorite things to do.
GLITTER: Favorite basketball team?
OLIVIA: Grizzlies. Gotta rep my hometown.
GLITTER: What are five things your fans don’t know about you?
OLIVIA: 1. I can’t stand handshakes. Like let’s just hug it out from the get go.
2. I can crack probably a solid 90% of body.
3. Put ketchup on everything.
4. Even though I was a competitive gymnast for seven years and a cheerleader for four, I am the ultimate klutz.
5. I speak sarcasm SO well.
GLITTER: What are three things in your purse right now?
OLIVIA: Rosebud lip balm, pack of gum, and my wallet.
GLITTER: What song do you have on repeat currently?
OLIVIA: “Photograph” by Ed Sheeran.
GLITTER: Any summer plans?
OLIVIA: You’ll find me on any beach I can find, maybe traveling a little bit, and making music for my first album.
