How To Celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day?!

August is a month full of national foodie holidays. Today, Tuesday August 4th is National Chocolate Chip Day. Here are some fun ways to celebrate!

Breakfast: Incorporate chocolate chips in your pancakes or waffles. If you want to be healthier, toss some chocolate chips in your oatmeal! Those of you who are daring and want to try something different, melt chocolate chips and dip them in bacon. Once they harden you have chocolate covered bacon!

Lunch: Be prepared to step a little outside of your comfort zone. Grilled cheese with melted chocolate chips. Yes, cheese and chocolate is an AMAZING and DARING combo, why not?

Snack: Simply have a chocolate chip granola bar or fresh fruit like banana’s or strawberries with chocolate chips.

Dinner: Now the hard part, how to add chocolate chip to dinner? Our answer, Chili! Add 1 tablespoon of chopped semi-sweet chocolate to one of your chili recipes.

Dessert: Best for last! End the day with a classic chocolate fondue night! Melt chocolate chips and dip fruits, cookies, or pretzels.
