Actress, G. Hannelius, talks to Glitter Magazine about her new nail app, MAKE ME NAILS, the current season of the Emmy-nominated Disney series, Dog with a Blog, her ideal prom tune, and her definition of self-love, which we love! Rock on G. Rock on!
GLITTER: We’re so excited for your new nail app!! What can you tell us about your new app, MAKE ME NAILS?
G: Make Me Nails is the first ever fully customizable nail wrap app. Users can take a photo, upload from Facebook, Instagram, or their camera roll. They can also select from a variety of handpicked preselected designs available within the app. It’s now available in the Apple App Store for download!
GLITTER: You’re also on the Emmy-nominated Disney series, Dog with a Blog. What can you tell us about the current season?
G: Season 3 is crazy! There are tons of surprises. Stan gets married, and a lot of fun surprises and adventures stem from that.
GLITTER: How like or unalike Avery are you?
G: She is very loving, but also determined and passionate. I think I share those characteristics.
GLITTER: How do you think teens can stay smart in the digital age?
G: I think teen can stay smart online by using their common sense. Don’t give out personal information to strangers, don’t spend time on strange, dangerous websites, and always report anything suspicious to a parent or trusted adult.
GLITTER: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
G: I love spending time with my friends, writing music, and watching movies.
GLITTER: What can you tell us about your work with A Window Between Worlds?
G: A Window Between Worlds is an organization that uses art as a healing tool to help women, children, and veterans, suffering from domestic violence or traumatic situations. I volunteer with them often, but I also host their yearly spring event fundraiser, Art in the Afternoon. It is May 2nd in Venice, CA and it’s a blast! GLITTER: Is it true that you’re a budding fashionista?
G: Yes! I love fashion. I also think that nail art is the perfect way to extend fashion to your fingers and nail wraps are one of my favorite accessories.
GLITTER: If you could go to prom with anyone, who it be a why?
G: Definitely a group of my best friends, because there is no pressure, like there is if you go with a guy, and you can dance and be silly and have fun.
GLITTER: What would be your perfect nail art design for prom?
G: I would do a glitter ombre.
GLITTER: What are your thoughts on vegan nail polish?
G: I love and support it all the way! So much better for you than chemical filled polish. But nail wraps are a healthy alternative as well.
GLITTER: What fashion tips can you give to girls when putting together their prom look?
G: I would say have fun and wear something you feel confident in. Don’t forget to wear comfortable heels (Is there even such a thing? lol.) that you can dance in!
GLITTER: How would you incorporate your personal style into your prom look?
G: I like classic but feminine pieces, so I would add some girly nail wraps to make my look feel like me.
GLITTER: What is your definition of self-love?
G: Loving yourself from the inside out!
