Actor, Rahart Adams, stars in the Nickelodeon’s Every Witch Way. Season 4 just premiered yesterday. He plays Jax, the rebel wizard who uses his powers every chance he gets and is willing to do anything to get what he wants. He may play the bad boy on the Nick television series, but he has a heart of gold. He just wrapped filming the Nickelodeon television movie, Suckers, slated for release this Fall. Rahart stars alongside Brec Bassinger as he plays Davis, the introvert who discovers who he really is after the whole school believes he is a vampire. Glitter recently sat down with Rahart to talk about when he first started acting, what it’s like to be on Every Witch Way, how long he’s been playing piano, his secret crush (a question he dodges, which means he has a crush on someone. 😉 ), and what projects he’s working on next. Read on to find out more about this talented Australian actor with a heart of gold.

GLITTER: When did you first start acting?

RAHART: Professionally I started acting about four years ago, although I did take classes when I was much younger to boost my confidence and ended up starting in the world of acting through theatre.

GLITTER: What’s it like acting on Nickelodeon’s Every Witch Way? Who do you play?

RAHART: Working on EWW is a lot of fun, it’s usually pretty full on with schedules and the amount of scenes we film per day but when you work with some of your best friends it becomes a breeze. I play Jax Novoa, the rebel wizard who lives day by day with out care for authority; until now.

GLITTER: How different is soap opera acting from primetime?

RAHART: Well in my experience working on soap operas and working on prime time shows are pretty similar in terms of how intense the work is but each genre of television has a specific style of acting; which is a lot of fun to discover and explore.

GLITTER: Do you have a secret crush on anyone?

RAHART: It wouldn’t be a secret if I told you now would it? Haha!

GLITTER: What is one thing you can’t live without and why?

RAHART: I know it’s sad and cliche, but I couldn’t live with out my phone because there’s just so many day to day dependencies with my mobile that I’d be figuratively and literally lost with out it haha.

GLITTER: How long have you been playing the piano?

RAHART: Since the age of four or five I’ve been playing piano, but now days I only play piano to relax and unwind.

GLITTER: Would you ever consider a career in music?

RAHART: Who knows where life is going to take me. I wouldn’t rule it out of the books that’s for sure.

GLITTER: What is your favorite part about the summer season?

RAHART: My favorite part of the summer season is definitely the barbecues, beaches, cruising my car with windows down and loud music!

GLITTER: What other projects do you have coming up?

RAHART: My next project is the Nowhere Boys movie. I start filming that the day after I land from the U.S. Nowhere Boys is a project I hold close to my heart. It’s filmed in my city and it really created a new standard for kids television in Australia.

GLITTER: What do you have planned for the upcoming year?

RAHART: I plan to be working just as hard, if not harder and to be going back to back to back in between projects just like I have been for the past two years.
