Interview with Louriza Tronico of Make It Pop!
Louriza Tronico can be seen playing fashionista, Jodi, in the upcoming Nickelodeon series, Make It Pop! Louriza’s favorite dish is her uncle’s stuffed mushrooms and her favorite show right now is the hilarious new ABC show, Fresh Off The Boat. Read on to find out more about this talented actress.

GLITTER: When did you first start acting?
LOURIZA: I started acting when I started having an interest in musical theatre around the age of eight. I first started with singing and dancing-I guess acting came in with a natural interest since they all kind of go hand-in-hand. I was constantly taking classes for all three classes and eventually wanted to take the acting side more seriously, which led me into doing film and TV!
GLITTER: What’s it like being a fresh new face to the Nickelodeon network?
LOURIZA: It’s so great to be apart of a network that really caters to a younger audience. I feel so proud to be part of a show that I am able to show the whole family-especially having a lot of younger cousins!
GLITTER: What’s it like acting on Nickelodeon’s Make It Pop? Who do you play?
LOURIZA: I play Jodi, the fierce and sassy choreographer and fashionista of the group! I love being in a comedy, because the main intention is to make people laugh- and that’s literally the best job in the world!
GLITTER: How alike or dislike your character, Jodi, are you?
LOURIZA: I’m similar to Jodi because we both love the dance style hip-hop! She and I also share the same appreciation for sarcasm. Jodi and I are different when it comes to fashion- as a fashionista she plans all of her outfits and I’m more of a jeans and cute shirt kind of girl!
GLITTER: Who inspires you the most?
LOURIZA: Everybody and anybody who works hard at their craft, work and/or their family.
GLITTER: What show are you addicted to at the moment? We can’t get enough of BBC’s Sherlock on Netflix.
LOURIZA: I’m loving ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat!
GLITTER: What’s your favorite dish to cook? Could you share the recipe with us?
LOURIZA: My uncle’s stuffed mushrooms! Although I’m debating whether or not it’s my favorite to cook or to eat…
GLITTER: What’s your favorite thing about the spring season?
LOURIZA: No more snow!!
GLITTER: Favorite fashion trend?
LOURIZA: Ripped jeans with cute heels.
