INTERVIEW WITH HALEY RAMM
Haley Ramm is best known for playing Brenna Carver in the ABC Family series, Chasing Life. Haley recently sat down with Glitter to talk about what it’s like to be on Chasing Life, what other movies she’s been in (she played a young Jean Grey in X-Men: The Last Stand), and her Etsy shop she has with her mom, Barbee Vintage. Read on to find out more about this extremely talented actress.

GLITTER: When did you first start acting?
HALEY: I started acting when I was six-years-old in Dallas, TX. After building my resume with commercials and short films it was time to test the waters in LA. My mom moved with me when I was eleven and we haven’t looked back since. My whole family enjoys living in LA now.
GLITTER: What’s it like acting on ABC Family’s Chasing Life? Who do you play?
HALEY: Chasing Life has been a dream to work on. The cast and crew all really enjoy each other’s company. I play Brenna. I think she’s a relatable character. We’re all trying to figure ourselves out and find our identity and passion. That’s Brenna for you.
GLITTER: Who has been your favorite co-star?
HALEY: I don’t think I can pick just one. Everyone brings something different and unique to the table.
GLITTER: What films have you been in?
HALEY: Disconnect, Into the Wild, X-Men: The Last Stand. Some other indie films that don’t know their fate yet (soon to be released) Cowgirls and Angels 2 – for all the feisty young girls out there.
GLITTER: What is your favorite style decade?
HALEY: The 60’s. The way fashion evolved in that whole decade amazes me. I love the early 60’s just coming out of the 50’s all the way to the beginning of the 70’s. Women were liberated for the first time and the fashion of that time reflected it. I think that’s why I love it so much. There’s so much history that goes along with vintage clothing.
GLITTER: Is it true that you buy vintage clothing and turn around and sell it online? If so, what has been your favorite piece that you sold?
HALEY: I do! My mom and I started an Etsy shop called Barbee Vintage and we hope to expand it someday! We just sold a robe from the 1920’s! It was sad to let it go because items from the 20’s that are still intact are hard to come by. After all that was almost 100 years ago.
GLITTER: What do you have planned for the upcoming year? Do you have any upcoming projects you can tell us about?
HALEY: Going back to film the second season of Chasing Life next month! So many exciting things happening this season. Brenna will be maturing a lot and will have some adult decisions to make.
