GLITTER: Tell us about your role as Miles on Nickelodeon’s The Haunted Hathaways.

CURTIS: Miles is more of a friendly ghost, like Casper. He does not like to haunt people, he’s quirky and in to fashion, and he could use some dance lessons for sure. But that’s what makes Miles so funny and lovable.

GLITTER: What’s been one of your favorite moments from filming the show?

CURTIS: I would say the entire day we filmed Haunted Brothers because in that episode Miles turns into a bad boy with a motorcycle, a leather jacket, and an attitude.

GLITTER: Do you have a favorite episode?

CURTIS: My favorite right now is “Mostly Ghostly Girl.” Not only is that episode funny, but it has tons of action, and a performance from Rixton!

GLITTER: What can fans expect to see in the upcoming episodes?

CURTIS: More ghosting abilities, more messes, surprises, and family bonding.

GLITTER: What would you like to see happen next on the show?

CURTIS: I think our show is already amazing, but celebrity guest appearances never get old! Steph Curry from the Golden State Warriors, anyone? He’s not that far from Hollywood… Just saying.

GLITTER: What was it like to be nominated for an NAACP Image Award nomination?

CURTIS: I feel so humbled by this nomination. This means the world to me, because I don’t act to win awards, I just do it because I enjoy it more than anything else. So yeah, I’m definitely thankful to get recognized for my work because I do put a lot of time and practice into being my best on screen.

GLITTER: What advice do you have to other young boys and girls who want to pursue their dreams?

CURTIS:  I would say the best advice would be to never give up no matter what, to work hard at your craft, and to listen closely to advice from those who have more experience than you may have.

GLITTER: What is something fans may not know about you?

CURTIS: Most people don’t know that I was a stand-up comedian at seven-years-old. I actually performed at the Hollywood Improv, where legends like Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, and Jay Leno also performed. Stand-up comedy is extremely hard to do, but I pulled it off well, and I’m very proud of that.

GLITTER: Who inspires you?

CURTIS:  I would say my dad, because he is setting a great example for me and my family by his work ethic, being a provider, and just being the best dad in the world really. My other role models would be actors like Denzel Washington, Chadwick Boseman, and Leonardo DiCaprio because they are fantastic actors and I hope to be as successful as them one day.

GLITTER: What has been the most interesting fact you’ve learned lately?

CURTIS: There’s a famous quote that I believe is very true and it’s, “Whether you think you can, or you can’t, you’re right.”

GLITTER: Do you have any new projects coming up that you can tell us about?

CURTIS: It’s early in the year, but I’m hoping to do some work in major feature films and in sitcoms later this year. I feel like one of my strengths as an actor is the ability to play roles that are funny, as well as dramatic. It would be awesome to have the ability to showcase that this year.
