Seven Deadlies by Gigi Levangie

Gigi Levangie pens a darkly humorous novel that proves that with every sin there is a consequence.

Seven Deadlies

Seven Deadlies is a humorous admissions essay to Bennington that follows Perry Gonzalez, a Latina who is on a scholarship at Mark Frost Academy in Beverly Hills. She lives in a tiny apartment with her mom and is nothing like her rich, privileged classmates who leave school early to shop at places like Tiffanys. A teenage-babysitter with her own business cards who makes $40 an hour, Perry encounters all of the seven deadly sins in her classmates who she just so happens to also be babysitting, helping with their homework and making sure they don’t overdose. Seven Deadlies balances heart with an entertaining dose of irony making this book a fast must-read.
