How did you get into blogging?
I have a YouTube channel which I’ve had for about 2 or 3 years now. I initially started my channel out of boredom until I developed a strong passion for fashion and beauty related things. I began to start filming look books, makeup tutorials, how-to style videos and much more! What I love about making YouTube videos is overall, I am helping the people who really need it, with finding their true style. I like my viewers to be able to feel free enough to learn how to express themselves through their own personal style.
Where are you from?
I am from San Diego, California.
What are some of your favorite cities?
My favorite city is Los Angeles because the city is so active! LA consists of a lot of the entertainment industry, which I tend to gravitate to.
What do you prefer beauty or fashion?
I prefer fashion because I like to show my creativity through my style.
How have your hair tips helped girls in embracing their curls and rocking a natural style?
Being a natural it can often be hard to express and accept your big voluminous curls! The biggest advice I’ve learned to live by is to accept the things you can’t change! If you were born with curly hair learn how to work it and love it! Find products that will work for you. Embrace your curls and just have fun!
Do you ever wear extensions? What’s your thoughts on being able to rock natural or extensions and not worrying about what people think?
I often wear clip-in hair extensions on special occasions or just for fun. I believe you shouldn’t live your life caring about what people think. If you love extensions then wear extensions! It’s always important to please yourself. The only opinion that really matters is yours whens it comes to your looks and how you choose to style your hair. Besides, extensions are so convenient! If you love them I’d say keep wearing them, they’re great!
What kind of camera do you use for your photos and tutorials?
When it comes to filming my YouTube videos I use my Everio HD camera. All of my photos are taken from my phone or a fellow photographer.
What are some of your goals and dreams?
One of my major goals is to become a YouTube sensation. I feel like I have a lot to say to this world and a lot of girls to help out there. I believe I can make a change. One day I’d love to become a professional model or even a fashion stylist!
Any favorite shows you are watching right now?
My favorite TV show at the moment has to be Candidly Nicole. Nicole Richie is so hilarious and I feel like we are so similar and many ways!
What’s on your iPod?
I have one huge playlist on my iPod full of Ed Sheeran’s music which of course includes his newest album titled “X”. I listen to Ed Sheeran daily. I’m extremely obsessed with him and his music. He’s such a great artist.
