Glitter Magazine recently sat down with Sara Rodier to talk about her character, Lily, on the new CBS’ show, Bad Teacher. Want to know what her favorite episode has been so far? Want to know what she does for fun for summer and who she’d love to work with? Then read on to find out all about this amazing actress.

GLITTER: What can you tell us about your character, Lily, in the new CBS’ show, Bad Teacher?

SARA: Lily is a confident and intelligent girl. She isn’t the type of girl that runs with the popular crowd, bu what is so neat about her is that she likes things exactly how they are.

GLITTER: What do you love most about playing your character?

SARA: I love living her confidence on the screen. She loves herself, is proud of herself and is a good friend. It really is amazing to enter her world when I step on the set.

GLITTER: For those new to the show, what is Bad Teacher about?

SARA: It’s basically about a woman who is dumped by her rich husband and forced back into the real world from her previous world of wealth and luxury. Her goal is to find her next rich husband, but the show is really about relationships and the journey of each character.

GLITTER: What has been your favorite episode to film so far?

SARA: The sixth grade lock-in. I got to really let myself go in that one. I rap, dance, get covered in shaving cream and doused with water by the end. Everyone had a real good time.

GLITTER: What’s it like working with the cast of Bad Teacher? Do you pull pranks on each other?

SARA: The cast is simply amazing. Being only fourteen-years-old, I really didn’t know the history of each actor, but now I know that I’m working with some of the best in the business. Everyone is so nice to each other and between takes we really have a great time hanging out.

GLITTER: Who are some of your acting influences? Anyone you would love to work with in the future?

SARA: I think Jennifer Lawrence is just great. I watch her and think, ya, I want to do this forever. Working with her would be on the top of my list. A lot of people tell me that I remind them of a young Jodie Foster, so working with her would be incredible too.

GLITTER: What are you most looking forward to this summer? Any fun plans?

SARA: I’m going to a sleep-away camp. It gives me a chance to get out of the house for a couple of weeks, although my brother and sister tag along, so some of the house follows me into the wilderness. Then we usually take a family trip. We toured Europe last year, but this year’s trip is still a secret.
