GLITTER: You began acting and singing at the age of 3. What inspired you to be an entertainer?
OLIVIA: My mother would take me and my sister Morgan to summer theater camps every year. Being on stage and performing in front of people was so exhilarating.  I can’t imagine doing anything else. I love to sing and perform. I love learning new things about the entertainment business every day. It definitely has become a passion of mine.

GLITTER: Besides acting, you are a competitive Gymnast and Cheerleader! What inspired you to participate in those sports?
OLIVIA: When I was really little, I had loads of energy.  My mom put me in gym class when I was just 3 years old, just so I had a place to run around but also have some structure.  I started competing in gymnastics when I was 5. I loved the sport so much.  My mom never had to drag me to class; I was so ready to learn the next skill. I started competitive cheerleading because I really wanted to learn some of the stunts that they did. I loved being part of a team, we were all like sisters.  My gymnastics really helped me with cheerleading. I really enjoyed both sports. In my spare time now, I do Parkour. It’s so cool how my gymnastic and cheerleading skills have helped me so much with all the martial arts I do now for Kickin’ It.

GLITTER: What is it like playing Kim on Disney XD’s Kickin’ It?
OLIVIA: The first day of work, I noticed I was the only girl in the cast.  At first I was like, this is going to be awkward.  I was so used to being just around girls all the time, with cheerleading and gymnastics.  But, right away the guys were so cool and I really have become close with them. They are like my family now. I feel like I have gained 5 older brothers. I love Kim’s character.  The reason I love playing her is she is not your typical girl.  I like that she can be sweet, but tough at the same time, and even though she is tough, she always wants what’s best for her friends.

GLITTER: Being in the entertainment business can be tough. What’s the best advice you were given?
OLIVIA:  I think it’s all in how you look at it.  Yes, I can definitely see where this business can be tough so the best advice I have been given is probably to learn how to balance everything.  I also think that there is a lot of feeling of rejection in this business. I’m so glad early on, someone told me that never take an audition too personal, because if you gave it your best, that’s all you can do. Having a positive attitude and staying focused on what’s really important is all that matters.

GLITTER:  If you had to pick between acting or singing, which would it be and why?
OLIVIA: Ohhhh don’t make me pick. I love to do both and I am so passionate about pursuing each of them.  I love to express myself creatively, and I can do that both with singing and acting, but in a different ways.  With acting, I love that you can become a whole new person and become someone totally different then who you are. With singing, I love that I can be myself and express my own emotions and feelings.

GLITTER: How would you describe your personal style? Any must-haves?
OLIVIA: My personal style depends on the day. Just an average day, working or hanging out with friends. I love to just be in jeans, t-shirts and boots. I do love fashion though, and I think when I have events and things to go to, I love getting dressed up.  I love shoes, and I’m really into beanies right now.

GLITTER: What are 3 things you can never leave the house without?
OLIVIA: I never leave the house without my iPhone, Chapstick and a pair of earrings on. Huge obsessions!!

GLITTER: What does the cast of Kickin’ It like to do during breaks?
OLIVIA: When we are on set and we get breaks, we all love music, so either one of us is singing, playing the guitar or dancing. We also play basketball and video games.  When we are on hiatus from the show, we all love to go to the movies together or go to an amusement park.

GLITTER: How did you feel when you learned you got the part of Kim on Kickin’ It?
OLIVIA:  I think that has been one of the most intense processes of my life.  When I got down to the final testing, I was so nervous and excited at the same time.  I really wanted this role. It was perfect for me.  I was in the car when Wendi, my agent, called and told me. I was literally so happy I started crying. When you finally land a role that you really love, it’s like all the hard work and time you have put into something pays off.

GLITTER: If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why?
OLIVIA: I know this sounds crazy but the bottom of the ocean, to see the Titanic. I’m not really sure why, I guess the history of it really intrigues me.
