Do you think you know drama? Think Again. ABC Family, The Secret Life of The American Teenager, became popular worldwide, immediately after its first season in 2008. Many young teens gravitated to the show, because of their common experiences or just the entertainment of it all. The pilot episode broke the record for the highest rated debut on ABC Family, which has been broken by the second series premiere, beating Kyle XY with 2.82 million viewers. The season one finale brought in 4.50 million viewers, beating the night’s Gossip Girl, which had almost half its usual number of viewers. The first season, focuses on the relationship between family and friends, and also shows how they cope with the shocking and unexpected pregnancy of Amy Juergens who is played by Shailene Woodley. This incident definitely spurs up drama, but you haven’t witnesses anything until the second season. As The Secret Life of The American Teenager continues, Amy will learn how to deal with motherhood and high school, as her friends and family deal with their own challenges as well.
