CAMP LINDENMERE!
Camp Lindenmere is our choice for a great way to spend your summer. It’s a camp with a celebration of choice, exploration and individuality. Each summer campers come together to grow as individuals and as a family.
Nestled on approximately 175 acres of Pennsylvania’s beautiful Pocono Mountains, Camp Lindenmere is a private, co-ed sleep-away camp with a long, rich history. Established in 1935, their focus is on the individual growth of each child. They offer multi-session programming to best accommodate the needs of our campers.
Lindenmere is situated only 90 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia, and campers come from as far away as Washington D.C., Massachusetts, California, and Florida.
Cabins are large and airy, complete with indoor bathrooms and showers. Tasty, well balanced meals are served family style in a comfortable dining room. The staff of over 100 people is mature and each is a specialist within an activity area of the camp. Special emphasis is always placed on individual interests and personal attention to the 150 boys and 150 girls who are there for six weeks every summer.
An atmosphere of warmth and companionship enables Camp Lindenmere to build a family away from home for six weeks every summer. Join Lindenmere for three or six weeks. They combine a long and cherished tradition of camping with the latest in individualized programs and activities.
Lindenmere Rocks!
Lindenmere Rocks! is the rock concert performed by campers who participate in the rock shop during the summer. Also, in the rock shop, campers work individually with specialty counselors on private lessons and work in bands with other campers to prepare a song or two to perform at the end of session rock concert. This year, campers were able to record the songs they performed in a recording studio set up by the rock shop staff.
