Everybody growing up dreams of becoming a star, but few have the chance to live out that fantasy. The Academy is an elite developmental destination that offers aspiring stars of all ages the opportunity to work with a team of celebrity mentors from the fashion and entertainment industry.
Supermodels, Emmy award-winning singers and songwriters, leading fashion designers, top actors and dancers, photographers and stylists, publicists, social media gurus, influential bloggers, personal managers, casting directors, agency executives, marketing and branding executives and more, provide intimate guidance and direction, real world training, and a platform that allows aspiring stars to break into and succeed in ‘show business.’
To Be A Star chronicles the journey of 6 women who enter The Academy and, for 3 months, enjoy the ride of their lives. As they walk down the runway at Forever21 Walk On Water, their dreams of stardom are about to become reality.
