High School Musical Star Joins Cast of Rent

As she takes her final step out of high school and joins the cast of Rent, Vanessa Hudgens  will play the role of Mimi in the musical cast this summer. Neil Patrick Harris, who starred in the  production of Rent in 1997, is  absolutely thrilled to be working with Vanessa Hudgens.

As he states “She looks amazing, has great vocal chops, and seems really committed to honouring the somewhat iconic role of Mimi. I look forward to audiences seeing a dark, edgy, and very different side of Vanessa Hudgens this August.”
